Yes, the prestigious London Bridge City development on the banks of the River Thames, containing over 93,000 sq m of office, retail, leisure and residential accommodation. In 2008 we acquired the iconic Willis Building in the City of London, and completed the prestigious 150 Cheapside office development, adjacent to St Paul’s Cathedral.
We own and asset manage a wide range of shopping centres across the UK, in addition to a number of office schemes, business parks and mixed use developments.
In 2007, St Martins acquired the Cevahir retail and entertainment centre in Istanbul, one of the largest shopping centres in Europe. We also own property in France, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Poland and Australia. In Australia we have assets in Melbourne and Perth.
In early 2009 St Martins made its first move into the Asian market with the purchase of the Lietocourt Arx Tower, a luxury 27 storey high-rise residential tower in central Tokyo. St Martins is concentrating on further acquisitions in Western Europe for now.
St Martins is actively seeking to expand its property ownership, focusing on landmark properties in developed markets. We are currently looking at opportunities in major cities in the UK and Continental Europe, including France and Germany. In addition, we are seeking major investments in Australia.
We are pioneers in the field of developing eco-friendly buildings. Our new 150 Cheapside office development in the City of London has an Excellent BREEAM rating.
